It&#039;s disappointing when close friends I ask about the meat in their diet respond, &quot;I don&#039;t know. It just comes on a tray of black plastic at the supermarket.&quot; Shits me no end. 

As soon as Australians learn there&#039;s more to life than borrowing money for plasma screens and real-estate speculation, and, that if we have to import our food we&#039;re all totally fucked, the better. At the current rate of disinterest in the rural sector, by the Nationals, Liberals and Labor parties, Australian grass-fed beef will become a luxury and the jobs associated with its production, a mere memory.

Do have a beer at my old local the Tudor in Redfern, as well as extra triple garlic beef kebab from Wilson&#039;s for me, won&#039;t you? It&#039;s a great part of the world.
