Chinese Whisper in Surry Hills

09 Jul

Well, between May and June this restaurant disappeared, but it is back better than ever. Lord Malcolm and I were last here in March, planning the banquet which turned out to be at the Dolphin Hotel instead. But now Chinese Whisper in Crown Street is back on track.

We had Sung Choi Bao (but with pork), Buddha’s three vegetarian treasures (with a variety of fungi) and Mongolian beef. The dessert, fried icecream, was amazing!

This restaurant just pisses on your average Chinatown place. ***** And all up, $22 each!
