Amadeus — the Director’s Cut (2002)

18 Nov

One of my Surry Hills Library borrowings, Amadeus has given me several hours of pleasure over the past two days. The “Leopold’s Ghost” sequence and “The Queen of the Night” are just great, aren’t they? I liked F Murray Abraham as Salieri, and there was some rich theatrical language in his speeches.

That’s an interesting fan site too.

The “Director’s Cut” really didn’t add anything very significant, but the sound track is magnificent.
