The religious right is bad with statistics?

No need for the question mark, Daddy, Papa and Me. Thanks for a very informative post.

Examples of this are rife throughout these groups statistics (remember the totally bogus children in same-sex homes are 11 times more likely to be abused? that fundamentalists and evangelicals were quoting (without being confronted by the facts by those doing the interviewing).

I’m afraid the Religious Right has a problem with facts generally, not just with statistics.

Speaking of such things, has poor Aluminium stumbled into some kind of Christian Taliban training camp? I hope she is able to make the best of it all, but foresee interesting times for her. I wonder how much tax-payers’ money they have their snouts into? This is the type of educational institution that has thrived under Howard.
